SHIVA VISHNU TEMPLE OF GEORGIA

October 3, 2008

SHIVA VISHNU TEMPLE OF GEORGIA IS A WONDERFUL TEMPLE IN USA

His Holiness Sri Sri “SELVAM SIDDHAR” also known as Dr. COMMANDER SELVAM is a divine personality, a great scholar. He is initiated by his Guru Sri Sri Chinnappa Siddhar, a powerful Atharva Vedic Swamiji from Kerala , India , and now he is managing Sri Akasthiyar Siddhar Peedam as the Madathipathi after Sri Sri Chinnappa Siddhar.

Siddhar Selvam was writing about the Vedic Astrological Science for numerous papers in North America , and he was the only Swamiji writing for many newspapers from East coast to West coast. He is famously known and respected by his followers as “Siddhar”, “Commander” and “Dr.” He is the only Swamiji in the world, who served in the police Department. He served as the first youngest Area Commander for Home Guards in Chennai City , Tamil Nadu, and India .

Sri Sri Selvam “Siddhar” helps the human mankind to come out different  problems in the life through Vedic Rituals. “Siddhar” is the only living “Siddhar” and Swamiji in USA with the Atharva Veda background.

The only Yaksha Devatha Upaasaka among the swamijis. Siddhar Selvam is trained by his Guru in all the SAPTHA RISHI JYOTHISHAM. After mastering the Jyothisham and Thantra, He is assisted by a lot of full time pundits, and he has trained them in all the Thantras.

Akasthiyar Siddhar peedam in India employed with a lot of full time Priests/Pundits in their different centers in th e world. Also the only Ashram which performs lot of  Yagnas / Homams / Havans per day in their different centers in the world for their followers and devotees.

The only Indian spiritual leader presently in USA . specialized in the occult sciences and the only qualified scholar to settle the problems like strange behavior, evil spirit’s attack, Deadly spirits’ attachment, Black Magic, Jadoo, Voodoo, Strange talks, Continuous Bad luck, Blockage in the Success, Sudden downfall in the Business / Job / Life. Astral travelling, etc. He is not a usual Astrologer; however he is a Master in the same subject. Astrologers are like school graders and he is playing the role of the Master in the same field. The Master Degree Holder could act as an school graders at any time whereas, the school graders cannot and should not act as a Master Degree Holder without any proper training.

Astrology is only a tool to analyze the problem and no one could change some one’s life for a few hundreds of Dollar s. Like lot of funny so called Astrologers and Swamijis saying, by wearing some kinds of Gem in ring for our finger, one’s life could be changed immediately, then only the Jewelers are the only Gods in the world. Does any body could spend money to buy the Good luck? No it’s impossible!!

Yes that’s right it’s impossible in the World! The purity in the mind and the actions only, would make some one as the greatest personality in the world. That’s why Swamiji always tells to his followers that “YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE ACCORDING TO YOUR THOUGHTS”. Also he often says that if you want to cash out your Punya/ blessings, you could certainly do so, however if you want to buy Punya/Blessings with the money, certainly it is impossible.

As said by our Swamiji Sri Sri Selvam “Siddhar”, the real fact is that, the Karma cannot be changed, where as we could admit our Karma in a comfortable way and our Swamiji the only Swamiji in USA is specialized in the same subjec t. Most of the Swamijis when coming to USA, they come with some kinds of message or some kinds of Expertise, where as our Swamiji came to USA with his fullest blessings of the Angels (Yaksha Devathaas) and fully with the knowledge of the Atharva Veda. It is also the fact that Atharva Veda is the only Veda that deals with the application part of the Yantra, Thantra,  Mantra and its application part.

Swamiji always says that we need to be blessed before we bless someone. Swamiji always boldly says that he is doing business with god, with a meaning that, hardly Swamiji comes to USA just to serve or help someone. Most of them come to USA only for money or for better living. This cannot be and should not be forgotten. However lot of Swamijis, when they visit USA they would always say that, they came here to bless their community or people. If a Swamiji is coming all the way from India, or any where else, why he/she cannot first bring forward or settle the problems of thousands of people who need help in their mother land itself before entering in to USA?. Several persons do not know how to make t heir life comfortable but comes out under the name of swamiji and say that, they could give comfort to others.

They may be presenting numerous charitable ideas when they collect money. However, according to the Veda a Swamiji/Saadhu (a spiritual person) means, a person, who don’t have any kind of material desire in his/her life. It would be very hard to see those kind of people through our naked eyes. . Even in his past, he has helped a lot of Swamijis to settle their own personal problems as an Atharva Vedic scholar.

Swamiji His Holiness Sri Sri Selvam”Siddhar “ is the 1st Indian in the whole Hindu Lineage and Tamilian to build the ONLY SHIVA TEMPLE IN THE WORLD WITH 108 SHIVA IMAGES. The only youngest “Siddhar” Swamiji in North America with the highest number of followers. Swamiji is now building the most expensive Hindu Temple in Norcross , Georgia- USA

ARREST OF COMMANDER SELVAM BY LORD SHIVA

March 27, 2009

Different School of yoga classified asana in different types. One method of classification is on

the starting position of the asanas. This is the major type of classification. The asanas are classified into

four types.1. Standing, Sitting, Prone and Supine. Some schools of yoga classified on the basis of the movements of final pose of the asanas. Thus the asanas are classified into three types. 1. Meditation Asanas 2.Relaxation Asanas and 3. Cultural Asanas.

Meditation Asanas aimed to prepare the practitioner to sit for extended periods of time without moving the body and without discomfort. When the body is steady and still in the sitting position for a long period, then only meditation is experienced. Deep meditation requires the spinal column to be straight and very few asanas can satisfy this condition. In higher stages of meditation, the practitioner loses control over the muscles of the body. Initially, people find it difficult to sit in one asana for a long period. However, through the regular practice the legs and hips will become flexible enough to comfortably maintain a steady posture. Some of the meditation asanas are Sukhasana, Ardha Padmasana, Padmasana and Siddhasana.

Relaxation asanas are meant for the relaxation of the body and mind. The asanas in this type appear very easy at first, yet to do them properly is quite difficult, because the tension in all the muscles of the body must be consciously released to get complete relaxation. The important asanas for relaxation are Savasana and Makrasana.

Cultural asanas are meant for culturing the body and mind. Cultural postures are mainly aimed to physical culture and thereby maintain the health of the body. Most of the asanas are comes under the category of the cultural postures. The organs of human body are made up of tissues. Thus the health of the body depends on the health of the tissues. The circulatory system can be kept in efficient condition through cultural postures which will ensure constant supply of proper nourishment and of the internal secretions of the endocrine Glands, elements necessary for nourishment of tissues. Thyroid, pituitary and the pineal glands are best taken care of by Sirsana and Sarvangasana. The smooth functioning of the digestive system requires the gentle and automatic massage of the digestive organs. Cultural postures like Bhujangasana, Salabhasana and Ardha Matsyendrasana are excellent in keeping the abdominal organs in good health and effective removal of waste products. Inverted asanas like Sirsana and Sarvangasana, by sending a richer a richer blood supply to the brain, ensure its health and also the health of the cranial nerves supplying the different organs of senses. Yogic postures are excellent spinal exercise. These postures preserve the health of the nerves.

On the basis of final position and movements, cultural asanas can be further classified as
1. Backward bending Asanas, 2. Forward bending Asanas, Spinal twisting Asanas, Inverted Asanas and Balancing Asanas.

On a physical level, the backward bending asanas stretch the abdominal muscles and tone and strengthen the muscles controlling the spine, helping prevent slipped disc and other back conditions. The spinal nerves, which emerge from between the adjoining vertebrae, are also toned. This has beneficial repercussions throughout the body since these nerves give energy to all the other nerves, organs and muscles in the body. Forward bending asanas loosen up the back, maintaining good health and increasing vitality. During a forward bending asana each of the vertebras is separated, stimulating the nerves, improving circulation around the spine and nourishing the spinal cord. This group of asanas is also very important for making the back muscles supple and strong, compressing and massaging the abdominal organs, including the liver, kidneys, pancreas and intestines and stretching the leg muscles and tendons.

Most of the spinal twist asanas enhances the pranic flow in the samana region, around the naval. This nourishes organs such as the pancreas, kidneys, stomach, small intestines, liver and gall bladder, relieves associated disorders and rejuvenates the tissues generally. Inverted asana reverse the action of gravity on the body, instead of everything being pulled towards the feet, the orientation shifts towards the head. Generally these practices improve health, reduce anxiety and stress, and increase self confidence. They also increase mental power, concentration and the capacity to sustain large workloads without strain. Inverted asanas encourage a rich supply of blood to flow to the brain, nourishing the neurons and flushing out toxins. Blood and lymph, accumulated in the lower limbs and abdomen, are drained back to the heart then circulated to the lungs, purified and recirculated to all parts of body. This process nourishes the cells of the whole human organisms. The enriched blood flow also allows the pituitary gland to operate more efficiently turning the entire endocrine system. This has a positive effect on the metabolic processes and even on ways of thinking.

People suffering from high blood pressure and back conditions, especially slipped disc should not practice these asanas. Those with illnesses that make the blood impure should not perform inverted asanas until the blood is purified. Those who are uncertain about their blood should seek the advise of a yoga teacher or a doctor. Women should not practice inverted postures during pregnancy or menstruation.

Balancing asanas develop the cerebellum, the brain centre that controls how the body works in motion. These asanas induce physical balance, stilling unconscious movement. As the moving body attains balance it becomes increasingly free to rely on other forces, such as gravity, to support and propel it. This group of practice develop a balanced mind and are especially noted for balancing the nervous system and removing stress and anxiety.

Pranayama is the yogic technique to bring the breathing in regularity, rhythmic and balanced. Lot of techniques are involved in pranayama. The word pranayama is comprised of two roots: prana plus ayama. Prana means ‘vital energy’ or ‘life force’. It is the force, which exists in all things, whether animate or inanimate. Although closely related to the air we breathe, it is subtler than air or oxygen. Therefore, pranayama should not be considered as mere breathing exercises aimed at introducing oxygen into the lungs. Pranayama utilizes breathing to influence the flow of prana in the nadis or energy channels of the pranamaya kosha or energy body. The word Ayama is defined as ‘extension’ or ‘expansion’. Thus, the word pranayama means ‘extension or expansion of the dimension of prana’. The techniques of pranayama provide the method whereby the life force can be activated and regulated in order to go beyond one’s normal boundaries or limitations and attain a higher state of vibratory energy.  Pranayama practices establish a healthy body by removing blockages in the pranamaya kosha, enabling an absorption of prana. The spiritual seeker however, also requires tranquility of mind as an essential prelude to spiritual practice. To this end, many pranayama techniques utilize- Kumbaka, breath retention, to establish control over the flow of prana, calming the mind and controlling the thought process.

There are different types of pranayama such as Sensitizing pranyama, Tranquilizing pranayama, vitalizing prnayama, balancing pranayama etc. pranayama done with the awareness of lungs or any other parts of the body are sensitive pranayama. The practice bring more sensitiveness to that part. Mudra pranayamas are example for this. Here the practioner uses various mudras like chinmudra, chinmaya mudra, Brahma mudra etc. to get more awareness and thereby channelize the energy properly. The practice of Ujjayi and Brahmari pranayama awaken awareness in the inner psychic. The sound vibrations in the brahmari produce a soothing effect in the mind and nervous system. Sheetali and sheetkari pranayam are uniques because, rather than breathing through the nose, inhalation takes place through the mouth, where the cooling effect occurs. These types of practices tranquilize the pranamaya kosha. Nadi shudhi pranayama is a singularly important pranayama for bringing the balance. By the practices of this pranayama, the pranic channrls are purified and enhance the proper flow of pranic energy throughout the body. Alternating the inhalation and exhalation, between the left and right nostrils, nadi shudhi pranayama will be practiced. Thus by influencing the Ida and pingala nadis, the constrolling oscillation of the body/mind network and bring balance and harmony throughout the system. Nadi shudhi pranayama is truly a balancing pranayama because it corrects the imbalance both in mental and physical body and restores the equilibrium.

Mudra means gesture or attitude. Mudras can be described as psychic, emotional, devotional and aesthetic gestures. Yogis have experienced mudras a attitudes of energy flow, intended to link individual pranic force with univiersal or cosmic force, mudra is also defined as ‘seal’, ‘Short-cut’, or ‘circuit by – pass’ mudras are a combination of subtle physical movements, which alter mood, attitude and perception, which deepen awareness and concentration. A mudra may involve the whole in a combination of asana, pranayama and bandha or it may be a simple hand position. Mudras are introduced after some proficiency has been attained in asana, pranayama and bandha, and gross blockages have been removed. Mudras are higher practices which lead to awakening of the pranas, charkas kundalini and which can bestow major sidhis, psychic powers to the advanced practitioner.

There are four bandaas: Jaladhara Bandha, Moola Bandha, Uddiyana Bandha and Maha Bandha. Maha Bandha is a combination of the first three bandhas. These three bandhas directly act on the three granthis or psychic knots. Moola bandha is associated with brahma granthi, uddiyana bandha with Vishnu granthi and jaladhara bandha with rudra granthi. The granthis prevent the free flow of prana along sushmna nadi and thus impede the awakening the of the charkas and the rising of kundalini.

Kriyas are the Yogic techniques to cleanse the internal organs. According to Hatha yoga pratipika of Swatmaram, there are six cleansing techniques called shat kriyas. They are kapalabathi, Trataka, Neti, Dhouti, Nauli and Basthi. Yogic kriyas remove the waste materials of our internal organs which are not expelled normally. Therefore, the aims of Hatha Yoa and of the Shat kriyas are to cleans the internal organs and thereby create harmony between the major pranic flows, Ida and pingala, and attaining physical and mental purification and balance.

Conclusion

It is, therefore, important to introduce yoga to children at the very young age in order to make them a better citizen and thereby create a better world. The need of the hour is to inculcate a disciplined way of life at the beginning of their life and there is no better way than introducing the yoga for the children at the school level, which will guide them to lead a healthy, peaceful and blissful life.

Yogic exercise includes wide range of practices. These practices provide the practioner good health and vigour. To cope with the modern social problems, stress and tensions the practice of yoga are highly essential. For most people yoga is a means of maintaining health and well-being in an increasing stressful society. If one practices all the techniques mentioned above, he can achieve good health and well being. Yoga practices have succeeded as an alternative form of therapy in diseases such as asthma, diabetese, blood pressure, digestive disorders and other ailments of chronic and conational nature. Thus the practice of yoga helps the individual to lead a happy and healthy life. Salutation to the great saint His Holiness pathanjali.

HOW TO MAKE LOVE ARREST SWAMIJI SRI SELVAM SIDDHAR

March 27, 2009

Vilva is a tree. The leaves of the tree are called vilva leaves. Lord Shiva is pleased with the prayers using vilva leaves. Bringing baskets of flowers and offering the same for the archana in the temples are the regular custom used everywhere. Lord Shiva is known for his profound gracefulness towards his devotees. He is pleased, with just only one leaf of ‘Vilva’ and grants boons to his devotees. Lord Shiva kind-heartedly blesses his devotees and fulfills their ambitions. For those who need good jobs, promotions, and any development in their careers they have to worship the Lord Shiva in the form of “Sukashna Moorthy”. The beginning of the name is explaining the comfort and happiness. Peacefulness is at the atmosphere where Lord Shiva appears. The face is adoring with gracefulness and genorousity.

Lord Shiva is the deity with the name “Pranatharthihara”. True meaning for this title is the savior of his devotees. People are used to attend the prayers every day. Due to their busy moments and tight engagements, they are unable to schedule long time for prayers. So the practice to chant the Mantras is disturbed. Many of the sages have guided us to chant in a simplified form “Om Shivaya Namaha”.

Sukashna Moorthy to be worshipped by all the members of the family. Specifically the ladies engaged in the domestic routines. And also for those who are awaiting for good education and proper appointments. It will be helpful to the circle of profession and business. The name sukashna is combined with Sugam and Asana. Sukam means pleasure and Ashana means the place of comfort. Asana is involved for, firm and right status of sitting. To be steady and to have positive improvement the devotees have to pray the Lord with the ‘Manthra’ given above.

Lord Shiva and Lord Maha Vishnu Happened to meet each other in their avatars and incornatins. In one of the event, Hiranya Kasibu a notable demon King secured several boons from Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma was the creator of the worlds stars and universe. All kinds of living beings were also created by him. For living, one should eat food. For that purpose, the duty went to the hands of Lord Maha Vishnu. If all the living beings happen to stay permanently, then there could be no space and only the births would be filling up to cover the world. So, the destruction of all the beings were also needed. Lord Shiva accepted that job. Therefore, the creator and the accommodator and destructor were the three charges under taken by Lords Brahma Maha Vishnu and Shiva respectively.

Lord Brahma gave the boons to Hiranya Kasibu as he asked. Boon related to his life and age. His opinion was to live forever with out death and that he preferred that no one could put an end to his life, either by man or by Divine. He specified that neither in daytime nor at nighttime should the death occur to him. The condition was further claimed that it should not be through animal, birds or reptiles. In both earth and heaven, the death should not reach him. He had composed for himself all the measures in the boon and wanted to live as a sole authority for all the worlds including Divine Land.

He had restricted every one worshipping Lord Shiva and Lord MahaVishnu. He inducted his name ‘Hiranya’ in the manthras and prayers. Instead “Om Namo Narayana” the prayer for Lord Maha Vishnu, he compelled to worship as “Om Namo Hiranyaya Nama”. His atrocious actions were boundless and no one lived with happiness. Lord Maha Vishnu was requested by the Divines and sages to put an end to this arrogant giant. Lord Maha Vishnu promised them to do the essential remedies. As per the proceedings, ‘Prahalad’ a male child born to “Hiranya Kasibu”. From the beginning, that child behaved as devotee to Lord Maha Vishnu. When the boy grew, he was sent to the Gurukulam, the residing school for studies. The teacher began to teach him the manthra “Om Hiranyaya Namaha”.

However, the boy boldly expressed the manthra of Sri Narayana as “Om Namo Narayana”. The adament nature of the boy was brought to the knowledge of king ‘Hiranya Kasibu’. He punished the boy, by sending the ‘Elephant’ to crush him at the soils of ground. However, the animal did no harm to him and returned. The Boy was brought inside the palace. King Hiranya asked the Boy “Who is Narayan and where is he?” The Boy told to his father that “The Lord dwells in the pillar of palace as well in every dust surrounded”.

Hiranya got angry and went near the pillar and gave a forceful kick upon the pillar. As a strange and miraculous appearance, a big body of a lion with the legs of a human came out ferociously from the pillar. It was not day or night. It was evening. The hands were four in number, the flying wheel of Maha Vishnu (Sudharshan) and the conch “Pancha Janya” were in the upper hands and the body was streaking ahead to the sky. It was not earth or heaven. In the mid place, the lion faced strange being lifted the king Hiranya. The stomach of Hiranya was torn and the blood was streaming down in huge quantity. The anger of the lion was not over even after killing Hiranya Kasibu. As per boon the death was not through animal or reptile. It was partially a lion with other part as man. Time was not the day or night. It was evening. Therefore, the ferocious manner of lion Faced “Narsimha moorthy” could not interfered by any one. The temper and mood in the victorious from “Narasimha Moorthy” started roaring and the sound spread over the world to face the stage of destruction. In order to save the world from danger Lord Shiva, wanted to divert the attention of Narasinga Moorthy and bring down to the observation of normalcy. “Narasimha” means, ‘Nara’ denotes the human and simha denotes animal. Simha means lion. So, it was a combined avathar of man and animal. Lord Shiva turned as a bird with horrible beak, extended the shape to the hight of the sky, and stood before “Narasimha”. For a moment, the lion faced Narasimha astonished to look a very big bird with terrifying nature. Of course there took place no quarrel, but, Lord Maha Vishnu in the from of “Narasimha Moorthy” came down to the normalcy and attained to the atmosphere of piece. This is what needed at that juncture. The killing of the demon king was over and the Lord Narasimha Moorthi and Sarabeswara (Lord Shiva in the form of Bird) blessed the human beings and the divines. Prahalatha the son of the Demon king fell at the feet of both Lords Maha Vishnu and Lord Shiva and got their blessings.

In the world if any one is fearful to oppose a big person for a noble cause, the prayer to Sri Sarabeswara will be helpful. The proper way and plan will be blessed to the devotee who can claim for justice and win the event. “Om Sri Sarabeswaraya Namaha” for prayer, one leaf of vilva will derive the purpose. “Eka Vilvam Shivarpanam”.
